Creative Photographer

A warm welcome and high five for finding my website. I’m Ian, and I shoot a lot of weddings and portraits, mostly in the Staffordshire area but I also travel internationally. The coverage I offer is a subtle mix of natural and creative photography and we do have some fun along the way. The feedback I get from my couples is that I’ve made everyone feel comfortable, and blended into the wedding. The single most important thing I pride myself on is my ability to creatively personalise your photographs, whilst capturing the story of the day.

I always try to present something unique for your wall by constantly experimenting with new ideas and photographic magic. I’m really fortunate to have such an awesome job that I love so much and consider myself really lucky to earn a living as a professional wedding photographer whether it’s close to my home in Cannock, or across the open seas.

Laura & James – Review

Ian has a cracking personality but also carries out his work to the highest of professional standards. A number of our guests noted how hard-working he was at the wedding, constantly looking for shots all day long!

Creative Images

Genuine creativity for each and every bride & groom’s special day. Your wedding photography should be unique to you and your wedding. I pride myself on delivering something different for each of and every one of my awesome clients. Not all photographers are the same and I think its really important to choose the right creative that not only is going to make you feel comfortable, but someone who can also share your creative wedding vision

Wedding Photographers …

…are not all the same. So you really shouldn’t have to compromise on creativity or quality for your wedding day. A good wedding photographer can shoot any style so if you’re a boho bride, a classic dancing queen or rock chick, then I’ll capture your style, not force a style onto you. I’m a big believer that Wedding photography doesn’t have to be a certain way, it doesn’t have to be traditional so lets be brave and capture just what you want, its your wedding after all. So if you don’t want to pose and just want documentary style images, then thats totally cool with me. Or maybe you love the dramatic wedding photos or maybe some quirky and alternative images? I’ll be there for all the fun, all the emotions, all the details.

Featured Weddings

My Wedding Portfolio is a good starting point to see a huge selection of images from different weddings throughout Staffordshire. I’ve also recently travelled abroad to shoot some destination weddings, so if you are getting married outside the local area then please feel free to get in touch. You’re also welcome to visit my studio near Stafford on the edge of Cannock Chase to view some full wedding albums, but if you prefer then you can see a few featured weddings below.

Other Recent Work

Keep up with my latest weddings and antics by following me on Instagram or Facebook. I’m a social media addict and try to publish a few images from each wedding or portrait shoot on at least one of my social platforms. I also love it when clients share the love, so if you see yourself or friends then please be sure to tag and share… It’s good to share. In addition to the contact form here, its important to mention that I’m happy for potential clients to also reach me via social networks. I’m online quite a lot so will get back to you as soon as possible.

Featured Wedding Venues

Take a look around some of the counties most popular wedding locations, there’s a good chance I’ve shot at your venue before but I’m always on the look out for new and interesting creative angles. So you get the benefit of experience, as well as a thirst for artistic and quirky images.

Wedding Charity

In celebration of ten years shooting weddings I’ve decided to launch a new concept to help raise money for charity. The idea is that as suppliers of the wedding industry we could collectively support charitable donations and give a little back to those who need it. The concept is primarily aimed at wedding photographers but donations and involvement are welcome from other wedding industry suppliers, wedding bloggers, and also clients. Collectively the wedding industry could make a huge difference for a wide range of charities. Read More

I’ll close with a humble trumpet blow by saying that during the the last two years I have won lots of industry awards, most notably being chosen for several editors choice awards and a “Best of the Year” from  thousands of entries.
